Arranmore Vineyard is situated at Carey Gully in the high central Adelaide Hills. It falls within the 'Piccadilly Valley' sub-region. Only 20 kilometres (about 30 minutes by road) from the city of Adelaide this is one of the most picturesque parts of the beautiful Adelaide Hills. From the vineyard views extend to the East and Southeast over the Onkaparinga Valley to Hahndorf (about 10 minutes away) and the summit of Mount Barker. To stand at the top of the vineyard and look to the west is to view past neighbouring Mount Carey to the next range of Mount Lofty and Mount Bonython. The vineyards in the area make a magnificent sight, especially in autumn (April - May) when the area is a glorious patchwork of gold offering superb opportunities for photography or just enjoying the pastoral ambience.
Saturday and Sunday and public holidays (not Good Friday or Christmas Day) 11am to 5pm.
You are welcome to visit and taste at any time but please phone first (8390 3034) as we do not employ cellar door staff. Directions
